Guerilla Knits in NYC

My sister and her family moved to Manhattan in January. Since then, I've been receiving funny photographs on my cell phone from my sister.

The tricycle is located at Lafayette and Spring, for those of you up there who might want to go see it.

I don't know anything about the group of crafters who are doing these projects--anyone out there know? Hats off, regardless.

wow. I have never seen yarn bombing that obstructed the usefulness of the bombed object. not sure what to think, but they are pretty!

You know, I think that the bombers provided the bombed items as well--that's what it looked like to my sis. So--no, you don't go inside and then return to find your bike unusable. That would be a bummer.

it's all the work of one ARTIST called crocheted olek. don't let her hear that you called her a yarn-bomber though!
