I whipped up this potholder last night using yarn from one t-shirt, made using the method shown in yesterday's post.
Pattern
Materials:
One ball of t-shirt yarn (one shirt)
Size 17 needles
Darning needle (large)
Directions:
Cast on 20 sts.
Row 1-2: k
Row 3: k
Row 4: k2, p16, k2
Repeat rows 3-4 8 times, or until potholder is approximately as long as it is wide.
End with 2 rows of garter stitch (knit both rows)
Cast off. Weave in ends using darning needle.
